We measure the strength and condition of the magnets on your line on site and report compliance with standards such as HACCP.
Assurance in production through magnet inspections
Regular inspection of the magnet systems used in your production directly affects both product quality and process safety. Heat, impact and wear can reduce magnet strength over time. Our inspection service ensures that your systems operate in line with international quality and safety standards.
Why are magnet inspections necessary?
- Correct operation of your magnet systems is documented
- Metal particles are detected and removed
- Quality and hygiene of your final product are safeguarded
- Compliance with international standards such as HACCP is supported
How are inspections carried out?
Annual on-site inspection
Carried out once a year directly at your facility with minimal disruption to production. Not only our own products but also magnet systems from other brands are assessed against the same criteria.
Measurement and checks
The magnetic field is measured with a gaussmeter; position, physical condition and cleanability are checked.
Reporting
Each inspection ends with a detailed inspection certificate and, where needed, recommendations for improvement.
Points checked during the inspection
- Whether the magnet is positioned correctly
- Compliance with the minimum magnetic field strength (flux density)
- Physical condition, wear or risk of blockage
- Accessibility for cleaning
- Separation efficiency and magnet strength
What does the inspection report contain?
- Location and description of the magnet system
- Measured flux value, initial value and minimum acceptable value
- Comparison with previous inspections
- Process improvement recommendations (if any)
